Was just poking around on my phone, and saw some pics of the Ford 2020 lineup. The one that I've been thinking about, and looks like it's going to hit the market, is the Expedition/Navigator hybrid. I've wondered why Cadillacs had one for years now, but not Ford. The thing I'm also wondering is will a hybrid have enough torque to pull those 7,000 pound trailers you guys pull. But in reality, an electric motor has instant torque, and if big enough, should have more torque, say 550-600 ft lbs would be nice. That and get 34 mpg as a plus. For all you guys/girls that want even bigger, their bringing back the Excursion, with a diesel. 2020 is going to be an interesting year, too bad you got to wait 9 months till September!

There will never be a real Excursion again. Needs to be a 3/4 ton chassis with the coresponding LARGE displacement gasoline V8 or Diesel HD engine. It was a great truck, but the 3/4 ton SUV is DEAD for both Ford and GM! Suburban 2500 and Excursion are no more...

I’ve seen the Excursion rumors, it was planning the tiny gutless 3.0 diesel with its timing belt if I remember correct and it wasn’t even a half ton chassis. Kind of like how GM just made a new blazer but it’s just an equinox with a different facia. Just the nameplate not the vehicle. The new bronco isn’t going to be the bronco we knew either. It is a midsize with a 4 cylinder ecoboost #LAME!

Well J did Santa put a lump of coal in your stocking on the 25th? I know they'll never be like the old ones, but what is? The fact their bringing the Excursion back, and playing with a Expedition hybrid gives you choices. You can't go back in life. We'll see what happens. As far as a link Black, I just keyed in 2020 Ford Bronco, and all popped up. Could be just a ploy, who knows. You'll have to wait untill at least August to know what's really going on.

The rumors have it they may offer the 6.7 turbo diesel, since the Excursion is based on the F250 platform. The other possibility is the 7.0 liter gas motor out of the F150 raptor. Either or both would be pretty amazing. Like Christmas, you gotta believe.

Huh...my buddy has a 2018 Suburban HD.....
the 3500 is still available to fleet buyers... Personally for 2020, I’m more interested to see if GM offers an XT4 package for the Yukon and whether or not the 6.2 will be an option

The Excursion was a 1 ton F350 unless I am dreaming it.
A total tank. Heavy too. Best frame of any vehicle I've ever seen.
I have one sitting here now.
I'm not a fan of 10 cyl engines but the 6.8 drives the same if its empty or if its pulling a house. I can't imagine a diesel since it has even better specs.
