IMG_20181216_132456[1].jpg IMG_20181218_120157[1].jpg After one too many close calls with suicidal Whitetail Deer, I decided to replace the headlights on my ride. Found aftermarket lens assemblies on eBay for $43. Added Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. Damn near need shades for night driving now - and the new eyes look pretty darn cool, too.(Yeah, the driver's side fog light needs replaced - have the part for that, as well.);)

nice headlights the really look great on your expedition and a good idea of upgrading to the Sylvania Silverstar may I suggest the Silverstar ultras? I have them in my 2002 Eddie Bauer and I really do like the results. I'm really considering upgrading my factory fog lights to the Sylvania Silverstar bulb number 9145

I had the Wagner 9007BLX, and they are amazing! Right at the 5000k, so they are very white at night. Had the same bulbs in my fogs, but others didn't really like them when either behind them or them coming towards me.

Also had to say Go Pack Go!!

I miss living in Wisconsin!

Yup. I'm going to go to the Ultras when these need replacing. And the upgraded fog light bulbs are in the budget, too. Thanks!

Nice headlights! Be sure to aim them correctly including fog lights.

The trend in my area is to run bright headlights and fog lights on all the time at night...even no fog. I hate it...way too bright for on coming or traffic in front. Just a matter of time before law enforcement starts to step up and issue DMV inspection tickets.

You can get a ticket for driving with your fog lights on without it being foggy? Really? Never heard of that and have done it for YEARS, and have lived in 3 states and never got pulled over. Never heard of it. Maybe that's why they are called driving lights now?

Is the driverside foglight thing a common occurrence, im also missing my driverside foglight too

I don't know if it's "common". Mine had developed a water leak and was useless; you can see the discoloration on the photo above. New unit cost $32 on eBay. Looks and works great now.

Yes, they are aimed correctly. Everybody up here in The Northwoods runs the brightest legal lights that they can - gotta be able to see the kamikaze whitetails!

Speaking of aiming, Lisle makes a hand tool for just that - $15 on eBay.p.jpg
