The turn signals under the outside mirrors on my 2017 expedition limited seem too dim for anyone to see during the daytime and not very bright at night. Is this the way they are supposed to be?

Yeah all stock ford lights and bulbs are dim 20th century crap tech... not sure if those are swappable, was thinking about investigating since I've swapped out most everything else

My 2000 puddle lamps are plenty bright. Is this just on the newer 4thgen models, or is their possibly something wrong on your SUV. I fold my left mirror in when entering my driveway, and even with my diminishing night vision, I can see it fine, and bright.

Just FYI, these LEDS are at an angle for other drivers to see. Ideally when they are driving beside or just behind you. Believe there are 6-8 LEDs per side.

They appear dim from inside the passenger compartment by design.

Heck my 2017 XLT EL doesn't even have them LOL. Every time I spot a 4 door economy car that cost $20k new that has them, it just makes think of how cheap Ford can be.

I don't need them as I signal then look over my shoulder to clear the blind spot before changing lanes. The Expy has excellent sight lines.

If the other vehicle can't see this hulk coming only because of a tiny LED on my side mirror not being there, that driver has other issues.
