I had a very unique view on the 4th gens. Let’s just leave it at that lol

Hahaha!!! [emoji23][emoji1787] And he went toe to toe with a Mod. Tempers flared and we are where we are...

Hoping the Mods realize he is back to participate and behave.

Hi all. First time posting on the forum. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted info and pics of their rigs. After a lot of time spent on this thread specifically, I finally decided on this setup for my ‘17 Expy XLT 4x4:

ReadyLift 3/2 kit
18x9 wheels with +18 offset
33” tires (275/70R18) BFG KO2

There is plenty of room for a larger tire but already had the BFGs. I’m planning to go to with 295/70R18 when it’s time to replace tires.

Thanks again to all who added their insight in this and other related threads. It really helped narrow down the options.

Looks awesome!

I'm actually thinking about 20x9 +18 with 295/65/20. Thats a 35x11.6. Hoping it'll fit without too much trouble.

Thank you! I’m really happy with how it turned out. The only thing that kept me from going with the 20” wheels was a desire for more sidewall. I plan to get off-road from time to time and wanted more sidewall to work with. That said, your combination would look really good and have about the same sidewall height. Only about an inch larger radius but I noticed on your signature that you have a 2/1 kit. I have plenty of room for a 35” tire but also have the 3/2 kit. Not sure if that will make a huge difference in clearance or not. You may need to trim a little felt but the combination will look great!

Oh I was also looking at your RX350 build thread. Looks awesome!

Yeah I have a 3/2 lift here but haven't put it in because I need to covert my rear air to use it. I will be putting the 3" up front and jacking the rear air up till it breaks and I can convert it.

Thanks!

can anyone tell me what is the biggest tire size I can put on my 11 exp limited without a lift kit. I bought new rims for the truck, 20x9 with a 30mm offset but now its time to get some new rubber on them.
Any info would be appreciated
Ty.

Dannyboy11222: Didn’t see any responses yet so I’ll give you a best guess. My Expy is a 2017 so not sure if the geometry is the same. I put the wheels/tires on prior to adding the ReadyLIFT kit and they filled out the wheel wells nicely. I would not have gone any bigger for both looks and potential rubbing. My 275/70r18s equate to 33.2” x 10.8”. Likely a similar size on 20x9s would work. 275/60r20 would be about the same size and pretty readily available. My wheels are +18 so your +30 might make a slight difference. I may have been able to fit a slightly larger tire w/o rubbing but I really liked the look and stance even before the lift was installed. Hope that helps and that someone with a 2011 with similar wheels is able to chime in for you.
