I know the rears are completely different suspension setups, but would a front suspension lift kit for a 97-03 F150 work on a 2002 Expedition? The F150 lift kits go for a lot cheaper, and I feel like the rear is a lot easier and cheaper to figure out. Does anybody know for sure if the front suspensions are exactly the same?

I doubt it... The upper and lower controller arms for f150 and Expedition are very different..

I don't think there is a huge difference between 97-02 F150's and Expy's, but unfortunately there is some difference, and therefore I have to agree that I do not think they will fit correctly.

How high are you going? Spacers and cranking the torsion bars are a cheap way to get 3 inches.

I have 33's and would eventually like to go with 35's. I know by cranking the torsion bars and adding rear spacers I can do it with some trimming, but bigger is always better. I just can't see justifying $2,000 for a 6 inch lift when i can get 3 inches for about $100.

In my signature pic im running 37's with 3 inch body lift. Torsion bar crank. I also raised my airbag sensor just a little to get me a little higher. B4 that I ran 35's no problem.

Few years late on this, but I did the Supreme Suspensions 3 inch torsion key and spacer lift on my 2000 EB. The cv shafts are at a sharp angle now with both boots torn, did you guys run into that problem at all?

I've got a 2001 expedition and was looking into lifts and the sharp angles from cranking the torsion bars doesn't sound like a good idea. Plus u loose almost all your down travel.
I looked up all the front end parts in the 97 to 2002 exp vs comparable f150 and everything is the same up front, upper and lower control arms, shocks, diff, axle shafts, bearings, knuckles, tie rod ends act. I'm thinking of getting the rough country f150 lift and lifting the front with that and finding some longer coils for the rear
