Just rolled onto the beach in Fl. The old gal ran thru at 75mph-80mph with several stretches at 85,90 and 95 mph. 188,*** and running strong.

I did notice a new sound like small bird chirping lightly coming from front. Not sure if it’s the ac compressor since I haven’t used it much since Fall or if a bearing starting to complain. Nothing major or loud no vibration and ac blows cold.

Oil level is just above but close to bottom dot.

I’m happy so far.

Be nice to the old gal: give her a quart of her favorite beverage.

Lol. Just did. I found the dealer tech who did my last oil change didn’t put the screws back on the engine shroud. ****** me off.

Getting ready for return trip next week. Will prolly baby the ole gal on way back not exceed 75mph this time.

Well, did u smack him good or chomp on the service manager a bit? Can’t let crap like that happen to any of our Expy’s....we pay damn good money to have our Expy’s serviced and not to have somebody forget what they’re doing in mid stream. Yea I would give her a quart asap....

Lmao. Actually I went to the Ford dealer here in Town, pulled in to the body shop. A tech slid under and put two screws in for me. Nice guy. Wouldn’t accept the $20. When I get back I’m letting my service writer have it.
Maybe I’ll get a freebie?

Check the idler and tension pulleys on the belt. Those are usually the first to go chirp at that mileage, and if one freezes up it'll toss your belt off.

Nice drivin'
