I mean you're getting the work done... big job and you don't seem to be messing around. Lots of talk here by people who talk more than they do sometimes.

I think what Trainmaster means is your one of the few that jump in, and fix their problems. We get so many here, that ask a million questions, and 6 months later, they still haven't done anything about it. This is a business where you have to jump in and get dirty. Bravo sir, you did what your supposed to. Try the obvious, dealer first, ask dealer if still available through search of other dealers. After that improvise. Parts stores, get oem part # try eBay, etc. Push to shove find a used good hose, or clips. Theirs always an answer, even if temporary. Wrecking yards are a cool place to fill your wish list.

You'd think but no. Most here are just spit balling before taking their SUV to some knuckle head. I've been here going on 5 years, and 50 percent never pull out a wrench themselves. It's a slippery slope when you go to a mechanic, and tell them their diagnostic is wrong. Try doing that with your family doctor. It would be the last time. Ask me how I know! In my case I was right about my Mom though. He apologized 2 days later at the hospital, when she had an infection. He wanted to send her home, but I knew better. Shame we had to get rid of him after that. Family doctor for almost 20 years. Same goes for mechanics too, some think they know it all. We all make mistakes, the bigger man admits it. Happens to 50 year veterans of the trade.
