Thought I would introduce myself. Ed residing in Kennesaw, Ga. Kennesaw is about 30 miles north of Atlanta and is home of the General, from the great Locomotive Chase of the war between the states. I have resided in this area for most of my 59 soon to be 60 years. Spent some time in North Dakota while serving in the USAF years ago. I am married with 3 daughters, 2 son in laws and a grandson and granddaughter.
I have maintained my families cars and trucks, pretty much since my first one, a 66 VW Beetle. I have never owned a new vehicle and doubt I ever will. I have had many makes and models over the years, foreign and domestic but the majority have been Fords. I currently have 2 older Expos a 98 and 2000. I bought the 98 about 2 years ago and liked it so much I that got the 2000 about 2 months ago. I paid less than $3000 for both of them together. Cheap transpo.
They come in handy as I need them to tow my cargo trailer, single and dual axle utility trailers with as well. No pickup for me I like the added versatility of the Expos. Needless to say with their age and high mileage I will be asking of the members of this forum for their mechanical and electrical knowledge to help me keep both of these vehicles in good running order. I will also try to help out others with any knowledge I have obtained from wrenching on vehicles.
