I have an '07 4wd and I just replaced the front calipers, pads and rotors. Now I am getting an intermittent rattling noise from the right side while driving. I've tried checking for play in the wheel but didnt feel any. Any thoughts?

Can you give a little more information?? Does it increase with speed, turning, bumps?? When does it not do it??

On previous cars I had a similar noise after brake jobs by not putting lubricant on the little metal tabs between the Caliper and brake pads

It increases with speed, and sometimes the is a third-line noise and the rattling stops but comes back. It doesnt do it at low speeds, under 15mph or so.

Guarantee you have a vacuum line issue with your 4WD hubs. May have popped on off while doing the brakes or tore it and now it’s leaking. This will cause the 4WD gears to lose vacuum resulting in the gears trying to engage while your driving in 2WD

Since you mentioned an issue with 4wd, I checked my 4WD and there was a HORRIBLE noise followed by a loud hard knock. This was both in 4H & 4L.

So, I checked the vacuum lines and couldn't detect a leak, and I didn't see any visible cracks. I did blow air through the lines while disconnected and there was quite a bit of dust and particles that came out. Drove it around and no more rattling...so far. Thanks for the suggestion.
