What trim level is higher up? Shopping around I’m finding it seems Eddie Bauer ended in 2010? I kind of prefer the Pueblo gold moldings on the King Ranch and Eddie Bauer over the monochromatic on the limited. They all seem to be equipped the same so it’s tough to tell what is top notch.

Makes sense, used King Ranch don’t seem all too common. Can’t wait to be back in an expy as driving a 155” wheelbase 1 ton Super Duty is getting old.

Both the standard length and EL are a nice compact vehicle for the interior space and both are like parking a smart car compared to this. Just haven’t found the right one and in NY it’s tough....

I was ready on a 2013’ and last minute checked the rockers out underneath. They were already shot so I walked. Ford......your paint jobs absolutely suck lol. 6 years old and rusting through underneath isn’t excuseable. The truck was well maintained and clean.....it’s a ford problem not an owner problem. Yargh the hunting continues.

After 2010, the expy xlts had a pkg that added goldish rocker panels and wheel wells. I bet that pkg is gonna be very hard to find used. If possible, a used good condition king ranch would be the way to go since the seats are slightly more comfy and the leather holds up better.

Lots of corrosion issues on the expys around the 5 yo mark. Pretty disappointing when you cross shop GMs and they show no signs of corrosion at the same age.

However, the expy interiors are much better at the same age as the gms so its give and take. If you can find a sequoia in your price pt, that may be a good buy

I’ll end up in an expy as it’s just become part of my nature at this point. I am noticing these things are starkly different as far as that goes though. I agree the interiors are night and day better in the Expedition as well as ride.

Going to look at an Eddie Bauer tomorrow, a bit older than the MYs I’ve been shopping but looks in exceptional shape with lower miles. I’ll take a bit older before a newer one with rust lol.

Also anybody know how the cooled seats are designed? Are they ventilated or actually cooled?
