Best Abrasive way to remove bug guts from front bumper

what is a good method to removing very bad bug guts off of front bumper. Looks like previous owner didn't ever do it. Tried just spray and didn't work. I am going to have to use some kind of abrasive pad but really don't want to destroy paint.

Use simple green. It'll get everything out without damaging the surface. I used to use on my motorcycle.

+1 on the simple green. Purple power is another good cleaner too.

If those two items don't get it, try some goof off on a paper towel or rag. I've used it to remove tree sap, fallen paint bits, you name it. It's strong, so don't go too crazy. Wax item afterwards! Should work on those bugs.

Simple Green for the big chunks. Then clay bar with QD spray. Then wax.

moistened dryer softener sheet..warm water.
very gentle
if that does not work..goo gone and good rinse

There is something called the magic eraser that has worked well for removing decals from cars without damaging the paint underneath. Attaches to a drill gun and may work from this

This. Any trip on the highway during summer plasters bug guts all over the front of mine.

In the past I've used mildly abrasive cleaning pads, cloths, aggressive chemicals, and a lot of elbow grease on various vehicles. And then had to deal with the aftermath of polishing to remove all the little scratches.

From a lot of searches online, people said soak (or shake) a Bounce clothes dryer sheet in a spray bottle filled with water. Then, liberally spray the mixture on your bugs (cool paint, in the shade is preferred). Let sit a few minutes, then remove the dryer sheet and use that to GENTLY rub over the bugs. They come right off. It's amazing.

It's best to rinse thoroughly and use some car soap to wash the stuff off right after. Ideally you dont want to let the mixture and bugs dry on the paint.
