My rear air suspension has dropped. Should I try to troubleshoot it or replace it with coil over suspension package. If so is this easily accomplished and please give me some recommendations if possible. 2000 EXPO XLT.

Thanks, Ed

This happened yesterday after towing a flatbed trailer with a golf cart on it. Got the suspension check light on instrument panel.

Could be, but if your system is like the air springs that were on my 2 Lincoln Mark 7's, it's temporary. Air rubber bladder bags only last about 10 years or so. What will happen is you'll burn out that little compressor, and the bags will stop inflating due to leak getting worse. Get a regular plastic spray bottle, fill it with water, spray both bags after their inflated. You'll more than likely see bubbles on the bags or the air lines going into them. You've got to make a choice to either replace with same, or as the others said, a replacement option.
