Rust under dash? Could somebody post pics of under their dash for comparison?

Plus, it’s just surface rust. Maybe in 75-80 years, it’ll be a problem. But I’m thinking none of these vehicles will still be on the road in 75-80 years.

Since reading this thread, I made a point not to look under my 17 dash! Now you have me tempted.

I've got a 2019 Expy rental with 10,000 miles on it. Maybe they did fix the rust issue with the redesign or when does it start? 20,000 miles?

I'll check my 17 when I get it back from the repair shop. Then again maybe I don't want to know.

Edit: I zoomed in on the pic. Yep it's already begun on the edge of the bracket in the middle.

That truck needs to be scrapped. All these vehicles should have surface rust under there if they don’t the truck is no good and air quality/ humidity in cab is off.

@mquick5 That is the way it is suppose to look. Nice even coverage of rust Not like the OP pics where it is spotted which suggest extra moisture.
My guess would be someone left the windows down and it rained in truck then they rolled the widows up and trapped the moisture in.

2015 Navigator L owner which we bought new and garaged since day one. Same rust behind the glove box as well... 7,200 miles and I first spotted the rust around 2-3000 miles when I checked for a possible cabin air filter. Car was at Stockton California dealer and we live in Nevada City CA.
