Ok so I am sorry to keep adding but I noticed today that the metal rattling sound happens when you get over 2000 RPM and gets louder the farther over 2000 you go. So wondering if this could be a loose heat shield? I haven't driven it in the 55-60 mph range again to listen for the clunk noise, I think I might have 2 different things going on. Hope that helps. Also it is driving when I drive under highway speed, shifting, backing just fine. No vibrations, nothing feels funny so I am very perplexed.

So I decided to try to switch it to 4/awd and I drove it up the hill and went over 2000 rpm and no noise! So what does that mean? Also not sure if related I turned on my ac as it was hot and the rear ac unit was making noise like it was breathing, never had that before.

Sounds like a vacuum leak in the front hubs system. Mine was on the right side. The noise is the hubs partially engaging.
