I have not found a previous thread on this issue. My locks will activate randomly after driving for ten minutes when i stop. They will activate when first accelerating which i think is normal but then randomly on the freeway and at the end of my drive as i am stopping from the freeway. Not a real problem but a concern as a short in the electrical system that may be effecting other stuff. I saw a vidoe on youtube of a similar problem with the relays in the dash not getting power. I think that is the closest thing to my issue. Makuloco traced the issue from the door to the lack of power from the relays in the passenger side dash access panel. Has anyone repaired this before?

I swapped out gems before with no change, of course it was a picknpulled one so that is not certain of condition of the replaced one... that was unpleasant. They are jammed up there. I have had good improvement recently with the brake position sensor and then my clockspring. The clockspring appeared to be damaged from being spun when i worked on steering gear box. The misfires i had may have been sending electricity through the vehicle? Or somethjng like this has cause damage, a short somewhere. I have yet to find an exposed wire flopping around. My engine is working good enough that i am onto these tedious electrical issues. I just am doin injectors on bank 2 and done. The ones i got from amazon for 80 bucks worked better but still rich. At least i found change there to spend more.

It seems to occur after i played the radio loud. Optimas went up and regular batteries are what optimas used to cost. I appreciate the reply and supoort and i would rather find the cause than keep replacing stuff of course. I guess im kinda thinking of an optima. Seems excessive but if it does the trick id like to keep the after market rado for answering phone calls alone.
