How Do You Know the CCD is Working?

As I've posted elsewhere, the ride on my 19 Platinum with 22" wheels and CCD feels rougher than I'd like, even for NYC streets. Tire pressure is correct. Is there a way to test if the CCD suspension is working?

What mode are you driving in? The wheels will add harshness but it shouldnt be rough. The ccd suspension rides better than the std setup even on the bigger wheels. If it doesnt, then the 4th gen expys just ride poorly i guess aand you may want a crossover or the new gls when it comes out later this yr.

Put it in eco mode and it softens the suspension. Put it in sport and it gets stiff...... Try a few settings, you will know if it's working.....

Probably bc of your 22s
I agree with 16plati.
The CCD doesn't make the ride super smooth - it makes the rough ride of the 22" wheels and low profile tires more bearable.
If you're after the smoothest ride, you'll want to combine the CCD with 18" wheels and nice highway tires.

I'm not disagreeing, but I thought you could really only get the CCD with 22s? It wasn't an option on it's own when I was building, it was always in a package, and I think every one of those packages included 22s?

That's correct - part of why I think it's to help smooth the rough ride that comes with low profile tires.

I can definitely feel that my tire sidewalls are thinner as the cracks and things like that can be felt, but the bigger road bumps are very well absorbed by the CCD. I'm sure a smaller wheel would ride a little better, but I don't want to look like an XLT! lol
