2009 Expedition with Air ride.

While driving the the expedition I get the warning in the DAC which says "Check Air Suspension" whenever I first hit a bump in the road on the rear driver side. I do not get this error when hitting bumps on the passenger side.

To troubleshoot I replaced the driver side rear sensor lever assembly thinking it was not reading the height correctly but this did not work.

Does anybody have any other suggestion what could be the issue with this error consistently registering in the DAC? The expedition levels out and rides fine. Just get the annoying error everyday.

I was also having the same issue. Replacing the drivers side ride height sensor solved my issue.

I looked at it in IDS and we seeing erratic readings over bumps when the check suspension would come on.

10 minute swap but the spare tire needs to be dropped

yes I also replaced the driver ride height sensor and still get the same error. is it worth pulling the battery and reseting after the level height sensor was replaced?

also would an over the counter obd scan tool show some readings?

I would use forscan and reset the ride height module and clear any faults that may still exist. I'm not totally sure if disconnecting the battery will wipe those faults or not. I sure if its disconnected for a length of time it would but not a quick disconnect. If you don't have forscan pull the battery for an hour and give it a go
