I found this article quite interesting. It is a report of the top 10 vehicles owners keep the longest. Of course the Expedition in in it. What do you think? I'm not surprised at the others as I've owned 3 of them and they really are trouble free over the long haul.

5. Ford Expedition

Average ownership period: 10.1 years. The lone domestic-brand SUV on the top-10 longevity list is the large and in charge Ford Expedition. The prior generation lingered for a decade before its well-received 2018 redesign, so it didn’t look old to its loyal owner base. Many are used for livery duty, and become pure profit centers when paid off.

With a few on those, they are just barely paid for at 9-10 years. Lol

For me that would be the case with the Toyota Land Cruiser. Then again a high end Expedition is right there in price.

I pay attention to these articles for future used vehicle purchases.

Interesting article, thanks for posting it.

Funny but I tend to keep all cars/trucks till the proverbial wheels fall off them.....but my fav car is my '02 SLK...bought used with 7,500 miles, owned since '04 and just put in elective work to replace suspension....darn thing just runs and has never broke in almost 200,000 miles......
