F-150 Wheel Pic Request

Hello -

Anyone installed these wheels on their 15-17? i found a set locally and have always liked how they look on the f-150s and am curious about them on my 17.1f3b08412e4ebb73ce19e05fff83d5a7.jpg

I was thinking of getting some off ebay and getting them coated hyperblack for snow tires

They are not quality finished rims. The paint will begin to fail in the corners of the spokes with the potential for the paint to peel, which in many cases does happen! If you get these plan to powder coat them, it’s just a matter of time before the finish fails.

Search it on the F150 forums before you buy!

There's several different finish types on F150 wheels... some are excellent alloys, others are glued on plastic covers

The wheels in question are not glue on and the wheels I am referring to are exactly as pictured above. The finish will deteriorate. Interestingly enough, if shopping for rims as seen above, especially used, check the spoke pockets and edges and you will likely see the finish wearing away. Here’s what to look for and what it leads to:
