Does anyone know if the Hp increase in the Lincoln is only due to a different tune or are there mechanical differences? If it’s just a tune it would be interesting if Ford would sell it as an upgrade and not affect warranty.

The Navigator has the same engine as the Raptor and the Expy does not. I couldn’t tell you what the differences are beyond that but it’s been discussed on here before so someone will chime in.

If you gotta throw parts at it, might as well upgrade to the GT spec

The stage 1 adds a whopping 18 horsepower. I'll keep my 5star tuner vortec cold air kit and 180 thermostat

I have done as much searching as I could and have only found that the compression ratio is less on the raptor/Lincoln. I would think this would mean different pistons but I guess the heads could be different also in order to reduce the compression. I still think it would be interesting to know what they did different to make the extra 50hp. A tune would have been the easiest and maybe by decreasing compression they could play with the turbo boost pressures more.

You could check the Ford parts website and confirm this. I’d assume you’re correct and it’s mostly in the bottom end.
