Yeah didn’t realize it was so far back. Glad they updated it. No need at all anymore for built in nav etc. the new CarPlay update is great too

The only thing that would make it better is if we’re wireless so you didn’t have to fiddle with cords and plugging in each time. BMW offers wireless CarPlay as an option. Would love to see it in the Expedition.

Yes but BMW requires you pay $80/yr for CarPlay in order to subsidize the additional tech that went into making wireless CarPlay available.

Granted, $80/yr is not a lot of money, but still.

Stop start has been implemented by major vehicle manufacturers for a decade now. In fact, Ford have had it on their non North American models for years. The wear is already compensated for and fuel economy *can* increase if you're doing a lot of city driving.
The number one point of wear on an engine is start up you cannot compensate for that. A starter may last longer due to a more robust construction but if it's used less will last longer. The city driving fuel savings is a made up computation. But more than anything, living in Florida I wonder how long you would live with the compressor shutting down and warm air spewing from your ducts? The fact of the matter is that we have had an out of control government screwing around with things they know nothing about

Exactly. In 3 years the automakers will all say the wear from auto start caused all the issues, but today they are boasting about how amazing they are. Complete joke. Starting an engine is the hardest thing on it, so theres no way I'm starting and stopping mine thousands of extra times.

CRAZY early snowfall this morning here in eastern Washington/ north Idaho.
I HATE how just the brief snowfall and slush buildup on the front of the vehicle completely disables all cruise control and frontal pre-collision warnings. In spite of clear roads, I was unable to use and cruise control functions at all.
"Blocked sensors" was the culprit according to the dashboard pop ups
