came on 60 miles from home car lost all power. Used limp mode(didnt know there WAS one)
to drive 1 mile to small town Ford Dealer(closed on Saturday).
They were not able to get a malfunction code therefore will not do anything.
Still under emission control 60k warranty.
Seems to be throttle body issue and very common.
I have filed a case with Ford Regional (online only way) and will be picking it up tomorrow.
Local (reno Nv ) ford service manager said it happened to HIM in left lane on freeway.
I'm out in the boonies frequently without cell service and am very concerned

My 2016 just did this a little over a week ago, i pulled the active code before restarting it, and after restart the code was gone, which seems like a pretty stupid design, well aside from losing all power at highway speeds.
Anyway, mine had a P2112 code "Throttle Control Actuator Control System - Stuck Closed". Upon looking on the F150 ecoboost forums it was very common in 2016-2017. I bought a new throttle body from a local parts store for $100, it took 10 minutes to swap them out. No problems since.
I took the old one apart, the teeth on the gears were fine, the TB and blade were clean, it most likely was a failure of the integrated throttle body sensor, but the fix is to replace the entire throttle body.

The funny part? The original TB was made by Delphi, which used to be a general motors company. lol.

Same here. Wrench light came on and reduced power. It felt like the turbo's were turned off.

Dealer replaced throttle body.
