Well, I drive a mix of curvy country roads and city roads here around Charlottesville. I average 15.8 here. My last highway trip to PA on interstate 81 left me at 20.1mpg. My vehicle has a lot of mods and 154,000 miles.

These are awesome detailed responses, not affiliated in anyway but I always check Fuelly.com for MPG on vehicles, typically a good resource for crowd sources data. Didn't know if anyone had heard of it or not.

We live in the middle of nowhere and quite far out, so not many lights but quite a bit of hills and turns.

My wife averages 14mpg

I average 18mpg on the same route. . . .

Going across the state we averaged 18mpg. It was ok on the way up, on the way back we were in stop and go for 3 hours due to a crash. When we were driving it was 80/85mph.

Still managed 18mpg overall, so not too bad.

2015 Expedition EL, factory only (no mods). I average 19 mpg most trips, but I'm easy on the gas and actually watch the instantaneous fuel economy. Fun game to see how high I can get it. Highest was 21 mpg for a full tank, but that was highway miles.

From Covington, VA to Chester, VA with the area behind the seat full of stuff and some stuff in the 3rd seat and three adults while doing the speed limit (most of the time) we got 17.8 mpg.

Man, I'm tickled pink. The Jeep Cherokee Sport we sold when we got this Expedition had the 4WD, 4.0 straight 6, 4 sp. OD automatic and a 3.55 gear in the differentials and we averaged around 16 mpg most of the time.

This Expedition has way more room, way more power and rides way better and gets better gas mileage most of the time.
