Hey everyone, Joe here. New member and first time poster. Had my Eddie Bauer about 10 great years now, just popped my first SRS fault today. Code is for high resistance on my passenger pretensioners. Used Forscan and real-time data to determine that my PS_PTENS PID is constantly at 5-6 ohms connected....26 ohms (I presume infinity) when I open the plug. Pretensioner Circuit Resistance has no change when I clean the connection with CRC, or when I wiggle the underwear harness (everywhere!). Driver side is a "cool hand luke" 2 ohms consistent. Any ideas on what I'm looking at here or if there is a common problem/fix? I ordered a few 2 ohm resistors on eBay to test the circuit loop through Forscan, but those (resistors) won't be here for a few more days. Any thoughts or advice? Single income family of 6, father of 4 on a budget...so anything this Dad can do himself to save time/money is appreciated. I have a pretty good electrical/mechanical working knowledge, so don't baby me too much....but I'm no engineer either. Thanks to everyone who reads. Best to you all!
