I have an 01 eddie bauer with a sunroof.
Being I live in AZ rain and water leaks are not a problem, usually. We have had a lot of rain, I have a water leak that comes down the left from pillar. Not a windshield leak. I think the drain for the sunroof is clogged.

Well now it has leaked into the some wiring, I think, now when I use the remote entry, floor board lights don't come on, radio turns off when in drive, when I turn the truck off, radio stays on and the it chimes with key not in the ignition with door open.

any body??????

Lots of info on this if you search the ol Google machine. Likely need to take the brain out and cross your fingers that drying it out works.

Biggest issue with 97-02 First editions is the dreaded windshield leak. Water and actually moisture from heavy fog or mist finds it's way into the Gem module. I've sealed everywhere around the windshield, and still have issues. I'm not going to pay someone to try and remove a 20 year old windshield, and try to reseal it. That's tough enough on a brand new one. At this point 5 years later, I have 2 plastic bags surrounding the Gem. Theirs no heat from them, I hope, so that's how they stay for now.
