The EB’s are known for ticking. It is pretty common when cold and is due to Direct Injection.
A video/audio recording of the sound would be GREAT.
Sounds like there are many maintenance issues that need to or have recently been resolved most of your issues could be caused by many combo’s of the issues you mentioned, like dirty air filter, low voltage in the battery...and others.
