I need to bypass my factory amp to install my aftermarket stereo the factory connectors where cut off so I had to hard wire and so far I can’t get no sound I was told that I need to bypass the factory amp and I don’t know how to

I can give some one my number or give full name I have nothing to hide and we can talk on messenger if that would be easier I just need some real help I don’t have the money to take it and let the audio stores do it for 50$ an half hr

Sorry, re read that, I would just run new wire to the doors and that should solve the problem. I’m not familiar with the factory amp or location. But if aftermarket, it should have a harness with speaker wires. So wire directly from stereo to door speakers. Just need to pull some door panels off and a little trim panels, it’s easy. It’ll probably just cost you some wire and time.

No amp in some models. The sub woofer does have it's own amp. The JBL system may. The base cassette radio do not. Go to your local junk yard and get the correct plug off the harness. Splice it in and use an install kit wiring adapter. They are on Ebay for $5.

If you have a factory amp you can get to the harness if you pull the cup holder on the third row seats passenger side. if you need to know what wire is what let me know.

@ this time; I'm going through about the same issue you are! On my 1997 expedition eddie bauer: My front firewall amplifier run's the entire audio-file system in my suv! Mine has 3 port-plugs on the bottom of the amplifier! If the main harness was cut off(the plug-harness to hook up any after-market deck) you have to go 2 your nearest salvage yard & cut 1 off a used eddie bauer suv, attach it to your open wires; by way of wire crimped connectors! Then Call your nearest Ford dealer for the replacement amplifier from your dead amplifier's model number attached to the top-side of the amplifier! you literally need to unbolt 4 bolts that hold-down the center console to the floor to access the bottom amplifier plugs: you have to unscrew the bolt-screw under the rubber liner; then the screw in front of your storage cavity; then w/a 12" extension/socket wrench; then the 2 bolts under the round plastic covers on the back-side of the console; then to remove it: (after you unbolt the 3 mounting places in the dash) remove the amplifier up-through the deck/climate panel of the dash! Installation is reverse of removal!
