I bought a 2019 F4 last week. It's my third Expedition but took a break between the first two and drove a 4x4 Armada before buying this new one. I'm sure this question has been posed many times but after about 20 min looking I didn't find a answer. I want to remove the air dam but don't know what you do with the part of the wheel well that no longer has support from the dam

The attach points aren't actually on the air dam. See those 3 fasteners? You remove them, then remove the air dam, and then re-install the fasteners.

I like the wheels on the FX4, looks good with the BFG's too. What size did you go with, same as stock? Did you lift it? Looks really nice.

Yes on the lift. Stock on a FX4 are Michelin 275/65/18.
The KO2’s are 275/70/18. I'll be using the truck to haul clients around (corporate types), so wanted to keep it as close to stock as possible while maintaining my confidence to take it off road a few times a week during hunting season. I've used KO's for years in all conditions, I'm a big fan.

I'd like to know if I could get 305/70/18's on the stock wheels with the leveling kit. The tire dealer said they wouldn't fit but he didn't have them in stock and they are actually cheaper.

From what I have seen and read, if you go wider than 285 with stock offset (+44), it’ll rub on the upper control arm at full lock. I believe the 22s have 285 wide tires?

those KO2 tires do look good. How are they in the wet/light snow? That’s the biggest issue I have with the current tires - not a lot of confidence in their ability.

(Edit. Saw you are in Texas, so might not understand the meaning of the word ‘snow’...)

If you add a 10mm spacer, not adapter, you will still have enough lug bolt to use for the lug nuts.

I want to keep the stock 22" wheels from my Stealth since that is partially why I bought it. If I go with 305mm wide tires, they are 20mm wider than the stock 285mm tires. They add 10mm to the front and 10mm to the rear. Therefore, a 10mm spacer will bring the back of the wider tire to where the stock 285mm tire is.

Kids, this is why math is so important in school. LOL!!!

Just curious, how are you verifying that there is enough lug to run a 10mm spacer on the stock studs. I would love to do this just want it to be safe.
