GMC front end is much better!!!! I also do not like the chrome C pillar

The chrome c pillar got me too. They do weird stuff with their third window and chrome tho...remember the current gen has a chrome rimmed first and second window but not the third, makes it look like a hearse. I guess they are over compensating: “well, we didn’t do chrome on the third window last time, so let’s put chrome only on the third window this time!”

Or maybe they meant to put chrome on the third window last time but forgot and they had those pieces left over so they threw them on here.

Clearly I have put way too much thought into this. Haha

Either Cadillac realized buyers wanted an actual shift knob
--- or ---
BMW found an old warehouse full of 2006-2010 shifters and made GM a deal they couldn't resist.

Exterior looks evolutionary, which is fine when you outsell your competition even when rolling on a 6 year old substandard platform. The interior is outstanding.

Any way you slice it, these new GM full-sized vehicles are good news for consumers who are in this market. Steel sharpens steel, so each iteration of the Ford / GM war improves the product for both sides and we all win.

I personally can't wait to see what the Jeep Grand Wagoneer looks like next year, too.

+1 on this :) Loved the old school Wagoneers!

But I’m sorry.. imho all three of the GM’s look like the designers tried to go for the so-ugly-it’s-handsome look, ... and failed miserably.
I mean, let me just throw some crazy angles here...a few LED accent lights here, because they’re cool, even if they look forced and out of place here...nah.. it doesn’t have to work cohesively,.. we’re going for serious hunchback of Notre Dame ****, here!

I like the exterior of the Yukon the most, probably because it's most traditional. The exteriors of the Tahoe/Suburban/Escalade don't do anything for me. Interiors are another story and look great on all models.

I have to say I was a little worried about placing an order for the Navi without seeing the new Escalade. Thank you GM for not making me regret my decision! While I do think it's an upgrade from before (the sport model anyway), the last gens were flat out ugly imho... The superCruise and diesel will be nice but eh... The proportions seem all wrong, as though they designed it smaller and then stretched everything but the headlights out.

One thing about the luxury domestics is why TF do they cram interior chrome down our throats? One thing that ****** me off about the Navi is even on the new monochromatic package doesn't change a thing inside. The 90s called and plastic chrome STILL does not look premium.

If I had to choose one it would be GMC all day... Most likely AT4 with the oil burner. Unless the interior on the Denali felt like a big enough jump.
