I know that I’ve spent a lot of money and time on this “old” vehicle(235,000mi) , but if I were to buy a new expedition, I’d be 50-60k in a hole and then want tires, wheels, lift........etc, so that’d be the money I more or less spent on building this beast, that’ll go and do more then a new expedition will do for me, although better gas mileage would be better. On top of all that, it feels real good to complete task after task of things that I don’t really do much or ever. I’ve probably spent 15k or so, I’m not exactly broke, I do a lot of side plumbing work that affords me the ability to do stuff like this, I also completely rebuilt a 06 Honda trx450r quad in the same color scheme.

Installed headlights, had to grind mount for??? To make room for belt(have bbk pulley kit), and flushed heaters (front/rear), and installed both heater lines to complete cooling system, partially filled with coolant, and filled engine with oil. Getting close to firing time

Hello all, it’s been a little while. I’ve had to jump through a few hoops to to pass California smog, but it’s done, actually driving. Did my first oil change yesterday and changed out my to my new intake. I also had an aluminum radiator that had a small leak on their weld joint. Had to swap out with a new one and of course the cooler fittings were different. Working on getting the cooler lines completed. Still have a couple things left, but it’s getting there.

Got my bumper light bar on, a trans temp gauge nest to steering wheel, new stereo and front and rear camera, air horn(super loud), and my evolution tuner. Still building stereo, will get some pictures up soon. Been breaking in the engine and trans, almost there.
