Correct the entire assembly comes out, hoses and can

So you dont think you could unscrew the two hoses from the filter part of the can? I've only had mine on for 8k miles, so I have yet to clean it. After thinking about it and looking at my photo, no you cant unscrew the hose's, because they would just twist the hoses up in a knot!

Yeah if you want the hoses off you gotta remove the whole assembly. That way there you can clean the hoses out and the filter

My extension came in yesterday. Install was little tight but it fits. I ended up bending the mount a little (maybe about 25-30*) to make the fit less tight and easier to access in the future.

Thanks for the heads-up on cleaning the top filter, I had no idea. I've only had mine for about 10k miles but I'll probably just do it next time I'm under hood since its been filling up pretty often this winter.
