What I’m also trying to figure out is what ISNT covered in the initial bumper to bumper Lincoln Navigator black label warranty. I’m not worried about longevity (I won’t own for more than 5 years) but I don’t want to pay for anything during that time...

I’ve not heard of a bumper to bumper warranty that had gaps. Only thing would be wear items like tires and brake pads. Oil changes. Maybe coolant would come due in that time? There is some sort of maintenance package plan you can get. Saw it on flood site.

I considered the headlight protection add-on and decided that my zero-deductible glass coverage portion of my auto insurance should cover any damaged assemblies. In the past, they've replaced many windshields and a couple of fog light assemblies and I don't recall being mailed anything changing that. Then I bought the 8-yr./100K policy thinking I'd roll up the miles like on my last vehicle. At the current rate, I'm never going to come anywhere close to that. I will hit 36 months long before 36,000 miles.
