Front fan only blows on setting "4"?

2009 XLT SSV, basic air with the dial.

Anyone remember why this is? I faintly remember once knowing but I forgot lol.

Sorry not to familiar with these models, but if speed 4 is high, it's probably the blower motor resistor. I'm sure others will chime in soon.

Changed the blower motor connector and the resistor but my blower is stuck on high and will not turn down or off unless you turn the engine off

The problem may be a bad switch. I would get a wiring diagram and check the circuits with a meter before buying a new switch.

The stupid switch on even the manual heater has electronic circuitry in it that fries and does stupid things.
You would think they could keep a switch simple?

Get another one at a junk yard or on ebay.
