Has anyone here replaced these parts themselves? If so, anything that I need to look for or pay special attention to? Thanks

I replaced my condenser and compressor in march. The condenser is supper easy. just remove to two radiator support brackets up top and the lines going in to the condenser and it comes right out. the compressor isnt to complicated, just three bolts hold it in. On 2wd it can just come out the bottom but on 4wd it has to come out the top. I took mine out through the passenger wheel well. Didn't replace the dryer but once you get the starter solenoid and stuff out of the way only 2 or 3 bolts hold it in as well. All in all its an easy job just take a little time and saves you a lot of money. Let me know if you have any other questions.

No. I used to work at a dealership and still have a good relationship with them, and used their machine. But I do know a lot of people who do side work that do let it out to the atmosphere.

There might be a A/C pressure sensor in one of the lines, i cant remember. If you trace the A/C lines and see a black round thing threaded in the line then thats the sensor. If your questioning wether or not its good then just go ahead and replace it. If you dont see one then it doesn't have one. It shouldn't be very expensive. But normally they dont go bad to often, at least from my experience. Another thing you might consider replacing is the oriffice tube. It can collect some debris over time. Only like 3 bucks on rock auto.

Ok, I’ll check that out, I believe the kit I got came with the Orifice tube. Thanks for the info, I’ll let you know when I do this, probably this Sunday.
