I have a missing vac hose, think it must have finally dry rotted and fell off over the winter. Now that I need to go back to a/c it isn't working. Found the culprit and can't find where the other end is supposed to be. Hoping someone can take a pic and show me where this thing goes. I've searched around for a pic or the same thing on YT, no luck.
thanks in advance,
Pete

It goes through the firewall behind the battery. I found mine hanging down and reattached it. It has a platic cover on it.

Thanks, I found the line. Now next question, that little hose inside the plastic wrap, does it slip over the snout in my picture? Seems like it may not be easy to slip it on.

It should have a rubber snout piece on the end that easily slides onto the hot water valve nipple. If it doesn't, that's probably why its not connected anymore. You need to put a piece of tubing off the nipple to the vacuum line that it will easily connect with. Like windshield wiper fluid tubing or something.
