My navi has less than 3k and there is a small section of one sticking up. Next time it is at the dealer I'm going to get them to trim it. I don't want to be responsible for a blade anywhere near those stitches... I would press them on it. If not try another dealer...?

They took pictures and sent them to Ford. Ford denied the claim saying it was cut! It snapped right where the manufacturer tied it off .

That probably means that the Ford District Service Manager (DSM) thinks you're not being honest. Talk to the store's Service Manager and request a meeting with the DSM. If that doesn't work, meet with the store's GM and explain the situation in a very calm and professional way. Ask him/her to setup the meeting. FYI - The DSM has the authority to approve the replacement or offer a substantial discount.

Yeah,
They could be testing you to see how far you will push it. I bet they figure if you were pulling a fast one you would just go away. Worth a try at least. I'd keep digging. I haven't had to go as far as what @techdude99 was mentioning but it sounds like great advice.

I’ll tryit! right now I am having a drive line malfunction, hill start, emergency braking , parking brake, restraint controls, unavailable! Vehicle goes into limp mode. Goes away on restart. No codes stored. Happened 5/25, 6/2, 6/3, and twice today.! All incidents , except last one today, were after hitting a jarring bump. Last time was after leaving a stop sign and making a left turn nice smooth road. All Alerts, 25 of them, are in my Ford Pass Mesage center. Dealer scanned it this morning no codes! Should I start a new thread for this issue?

Leather steering wheels are around $400, plus labor to install. Good luck getting Ford to fix...
