Hello all from Cincinnati. New to the forum. You all have a lot of great information here.
I just picked up a new 2020 Expy XLT black out edition. I haves been an Expedition owner since I sold my 2000 in 2004. Been an Explorer guy. Anyways it was time to upgrade as the family is a bit older. So we decided on a new 2020 based on the 0% finance Ford has going on. I love it. My upgrades will be minimal, led head and fogs and matching window tint.

Hello Hello Hello from Tampa, FL, I’m new to the forum, still learning my way around here, the forum not the state.

I’m moving up from a 98 Explorer to a 2000 Expedition that needs work.

It’s a 2000 5.4 L Expedition that I’ve been working on now for 2 months. I have an ODB II that

Indicates that the EVAP and CAT have a problem. When we got the Expedition it needed a lot of work and I have been doing to it.

So far I have replaced the Intake manifold, removed a bolt that was broken off in the head, that was slow going on removing it. I had to replace the radiator plug cause it was corroding off, I have replaced all the spark plugs, looked for cracks and leaks on all the hoses, replaced a few of them but it still has the Evap and CAT problem, oh ya It has smoke coming from the tailpipe and in the cab it smells like it has a gas leak.

If anyone can help me figure out where I should look next I would surely appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for any help I can get.
