Wondering if anyone has had to replace their rear liftgate glass latch? Mine takes about 4-5 tries to close so I figured it was time to replace (17 yrs old) and saw a video online on how to replace. Replaced it and it wouldn’t close. Got another one and it’s the same issue. Thinking it might be time to replace the striker as well. I’d appreciate advice anyone has if they’ve encountered a similar issue.

I haven't done this repair. Put a multimeter on the connector and make sure you are getting the correct voltage. May be a connector or corrosion.
