My headlamps have fogged over. I had them polished two years ago, but they look terrible again. I would like to replace them with something more modern looking-similar to the pics below (I have not purchased any of these for fear they are junk). I would like to know if some of you could share what type/brand you used or any pros/cons I should consider. The prices, brands, types are all over the place-LED, HID, Halogen, etc. I do see a similar post, but it is from 2018. Hoping to revive the topic. Thanks in advance.

hello, my name is Patrick, I was in the same situation with my 02 Eddie Bauer expedition the factory headlights were so badly cloudy I couldn't get them looking decent so I went to ebay and ordered Mar 02, 2019 me a set of the 1997-2003 Ford F150 Expedition Black LED Strip Projector Headlights Left+Right and they only cost $95.38 and they even had free shipping, I liked how they looked so I ordered them and I am very pleased with how they look and perform, I just recently upgraded the headlight bulbs in them to high output led headlights and I'm happy with my headlights, you might want to check into these headlights as well, good luck Patrick.

I replaced mine with a set of lightning style that I got on ebay. I believe I payed 60.00 for the pair. Really like the clean look of these and the quality for what I paid is great.Headlights.jpg

I too am in desperate need of better headlights but never pulled the trigger on buying some as we all know too well that a lot of the headlights out there are simply Chinese junk. I'll be watching this tread closely. Mine is a 1997 but I believe they are all the same from 1997-2002? Everyone have a great week!

I have a gen 2, 2003 XPY. I replaced the factory headlight bulbs with Sylvania Silver Star ultra bulbs and the difference is very noticeable, especially for the low beam city driving. Cost about $50 for the pair and all you have to do is simply replace the existing bulbs.

Got these on ebay last year. Price was right; had my local mechanic install and aim 'em when I was in for other, routine service.

Stay with OEM type. Those cheapo fake, projector lamps, usually are not as bright and blind on coming traffic. I bought a pair of new OEM(included bulbs) on EBAY for under $40. They look and work great.

Yeah, stay something close to OEM style. I've had these for about 3 yrs, and still look good. I forget where I got them, but they were about $100.

That front end is sharp and I have to ask, are those corner driving lights stock? I'm thinking not as I seen some driving lights before on a 1st Gen Expedition and their's were flat.
