Ok. How old is the fuel filter? If you don't know, then it's probably time to replace it.
Next I would take a fuel pressure reading there at the fuel rail. Should see 45-55 psi fuel pressure.
The Evap cannister assemblies are mostly damaged by people trying to overfill their gas tanks. Don't keep trying to fill the gas tank after the auto-nozzle kicks off the first time. When people try to squeeze that last ounce of fuel into the filler neck it flows into the vent line and down into the Evap cannister charcoal assembly and clogs up the cannister.
