The plugs have never been changed.
So. I sent it to a trusted local shop.
Probably the best thing to do?
Changing all the coil packs as well.

I have several coils reading bad. Misfires. And most of them are factory coils. Think I will risk it.

I knew a guy who liked to see how low he could run the gas in his airplane.
Guess how he found out the limit? Odd but True story.

Okay. Picked her up about an hour ago. Wow. All I can say. Wow. Motorcraft plugs, yes, American coils and wow.
Rear coils were toast. Trainmaster, why the negativity man?

The misfires are probably from the ancient spark plugs. Make sure you replace those American Ford coils with the $3 Chinese ebay ones. Then you can chase down intermittent misses for the next ten years.
ROTFL - WOW! At least you're not a sarcastic old bastard....

Very cool. I have a set of MC plugs but my wrench says my plugs are fine for now. I love flogging my 5.4 but I have Statefarm drive safe and save and it sort of kills my discount if I launch at every light. :burnout:

I also had a similar question about Trainmaster's comment, buy hey, fugget about it - he's a Ny'er. Mom was Long Islander. It is what it is. Likely nothing personal. :patriot:
