Changed map lights to LED and now they don't turn on with door open only turn on when I push the light on. Any ideas?

Just a guess: If you leave the light switch in the 'on' position will that
solve the problem?

No b4 I changed the front map lights to LED the map lights and second row lights turned on when you open the door now none of them turn on except for third row. Even if I turn the dimmer wheel all the way up.

Have you tried flipping the bulb 180°?

You should check the Ford schematic. Perhaps the feed polarity is reversed when powered from the door switch vs. the push button. In that case, LEDs would only work one way.

I did switch them 180 degrees...I then took them out and put original bulbs back in and now they only work when you push them on, not when the door is open

you popped a fuse. There are two circuits to the lights, one is on door open, the other is on demand. don't know what year yours is but my 06 shows on-demand lighting is #24

Pretty my all of the store-bought LED, and some from online are polarity-dependent. That is, they can only work one way.
I presume you understand that diode in "LED" means electricity can only flow one way..?

Some of the better ones are non-polarity but they have circuitry on the board to carry juice either way.

Try replacing the fuse(s) and reinstalling the LEDs.
