Yes, checked that before I purchased the DENSO coils.......'Made in U.S.A. and they are ISO 9000 quality control rated. The toughest quality rating in the world (International Standard)......I know, I was a Mechanical Design & Manufacturing Engineer for 28 years...

Used Denso plugs on my Voyager, before I had to get rid of it. Things were good. Especially for doing long runs. Lots of Denso stuff in that old bike when I had to get rid of it.

Get over it! CHANGE THE PLUGS! If you wait to change plugs on a "coil over plug" Ford you're a fool. The longer you wait the more difficult it can be to remove them. If your vehicle has over 100K the gap is probably 3/32" or about .52+. You can do this! Purchase a set of 8 Motorcraft plugs and a special spark plug wrench with a magnet using 3/8" drive. Both a 4" and 6"+ extension with an elbow is good. You'll be amazed how much better your car will run! XOX's 76 year old DIY'er
If you spray each spark plug tube with some kind of liquid wrench and then hit each plug with socket on an impact wrench, they all come out 99% of the time as if there is no trouble removing them.

My 03 XLT got a tune up two weeks ago for the first time at 110k. I
was a little intimidated by the spark plug issue and had been holding off. I had been missing intermittently for 2-3 years but not enough to be considered a problem. I wasn’t driving it very much but noted the gas mileage was gradually getting worse. Of course it ran fine a month ago when I completed a 1400 mile move back home, even giving me 20 mpg on a leg of I-10 in AZ - pretty good for a 5.4/4x4/3:73 with a pretty good load in the back. Fell off to 17 in the heartland. Anyway, it waited to get in my driveway before #1 coil decided to give out. I took it to the Ford dealer where I bought it new. Yeah, it was expensive but it runs a lot better now. The service manager said it would go thru a couple of tanks of gas before the computer caught up and I, still on my second tank. 1st after the tuneup gave me 11, all suburban city. 2nd seems to be better. Anyway, I’m hoping the plugs stay put in the heads and I can continue to enjoy this vehicle a while longer. I’ve driven a lot of cars over the years but really like this one cause it’s paid for and is mine!

Good plan getting OEM plugs and coils. A couple of mine came loose after a few months. Torqued em down and now great. Fuel filter is important too. My 06 also responded well to Gumout Regane cleaner. Have a tune on it now (once misfires were sorted) and at 298,000 KM runs best it ever had. Try a 0W-30 or 5W-30 oil in it now. Runs even better.
