New oil and filter today. Advance had this oil on clearance for $2.50 / quart and I was lucky enough to find 7 quarts close to home. That, an FL-820S filter, 1 minor scrape, and I bled from only one place. Pretty successful in my book, lol!

Changed 5 of 8 plugs. Will finish up Monday when I have more time. 79K on them, so I'm doing them a little early, but better than doing them too late. :p

Oil change today at ~176K. Massive to-do list in the works for the truck. After putting on 23K in just 11 months, things kind of snuck up on me.

Scoot, I feel like you could make a nice can/bottle holder that can quickly hook into that slot in the bumper. Good winter project!

Checked fluids, filled 'em up and corrected tire pressures on it and the navigator since its finally dropping to the 20s and 30s this weekend.

Waiting for this rain to stop the every other day crap so I can get a good wash and wax knocked out and at least reap the benefits of the effort for a few days.

My truck started making a racket about 10 days ago and I knew my belt tensioner and one of my smooth idler pulleys needed replacement. Although I am not a "throw parts at it" kind of guy, I decided to replace all 3 idler pulleys, the belt tensioner and the belt considering that I was able to get them all for about $190. The other smooth idler pulley and the belt both could have waited, but I did them anyway. The grooved idler spun ok, but was noisy AF. The belt tensioner was obliterated and, apparently, had started to chew into my front cover. I caught it before it became catastrophic, but if I had kept driving for much longer the front cover would have been toast.

Here's the new one for easy comparison:

Hey ManUp, what was the mileage? I'd like to do mine before it ceases up one February night and instantly throws the belt through the radiator.

179K.

I just noticed that despite the big "Made in Canada" displayed on the new tensioner, one of the components of it in that photo is clearly labeled "China." Ugh. You can't escape that chit.
