Hi, everyone, my name is John and I live in Northern CA. Up until about 10 years ago, I was more of a Chevy man, but then again, one of my first cars was a Ford Pinto. I purchased a brand new 2012 Ford Fusion in 2011, then about 3 years ago I purchased a used 2003 Expedition (E.B. 4 x 4 with 5.4 Triton) so I could pull our new travel trailer. I have visited this site quite a few times lately, and thought that I should at least thank you all for all the ideas, your suggestions, your heads up, and just plain overall Ford wisdom, that has helped me to cope with my Ford issues. Since I own a 2003 model, I am obviously late to the game, and I really am happy that I didn’t have to suffer through the beginning of issues as a lot of you have. I do as much of the work as possible on my cars, and to be honest, it’s because of the members of this forum who have shared their knowledge and wisdom with others, that you have saved me a great deal of headaches and money. So to all, who have posted and shared before me, I want to say thanks, and hope that maybe I can help someone else, as you all have done with me. If you read this, and decide to say hi, I am currently dealing with the repair of the infamous shooting spark plug (#8), and recently recovered from the vacuum leak that causes the squealing bearing noise and inability of full disengagement of the front wheel hub assembly, both issues very old on this forum.
