Just picked up a 2000 expedition, one owner from new that he imported when he moved to the UK in 2006. Only done 80k miles and is like brand new inside. Even got the ford camping chairs still in the back.
Looking for some inspiration as it is all stock and I think I've come to the right place.
What would your first mod be.
Dan.

Congrats, I brought my first expedition back to France with me in 2000 when I moved there from California. I first titled it in the UK as it was much easier and road tax was a lot less than France, then in 2003 France abolished road tax, so I jumped through a lot of hoops and got it registered in France. Sold it in 2005 when I moved back to the USA. Back then it was by far the biggest car in Europe and was a great car, only had one issue with the parking brake which was a Ford recall, Ford even reimbursed me for the cost of the parts. Mine was 4 wheel drive and I kept it completely stock, never had an issue with it, my current expedition has more than 170k miles so these things go for a long time if left stock and serviced regularly.. back then I was told a big bore exhaust and ECU flash where the best way to get more oomph, at the cost of lower mpg.. congrats with your car, I have owned 3 expeditions since 1995 and have no plans to change to another model!! Saving up for my next expedition that I hope to buy new in 2024/2025..

Thanks for the reply. It is by far the biggest car around where I live, its great except for parking! Especially as I have been driving a vw golf for the past 3 years.
It has been very well looked after compared to other 4x4's I've seen. Its got every bit of paperwork with it since it left the factory and I plan on keeping it in top shape and servicing it regularly.
The only thing I'm thinking about changing straight away are the wheels as they do look quite small in comparison to the rest of it.
I think I made the right choice in car after looking at several of them. This one was by far in the best condition.
