So I recently took my Expy in and got a tune up and had my entire front 4wd setup replaced because I was getting the grinding sound associated with the actuator problem described here pretty often.

I thought that would fix my issues but after getting my truck back we’re still getting a low rumble with a sort of sucking sound like air is being lost or something when going uphill, accelerating on the highway, or towing a small trailer.

for context I’ve already had one turbo replaced because of wastegate issues.

Mine has a broken exhaust manifold stud which causes a leak. Not a low pitch. More of a reed sound, like high speed crickets. Happens when accelerating hard but not just revving the motor. Known issue with warping exhaust manifolds. I am getting aftermarket replacements. Not sure if this is what you have or not.
