Does anyone have info on replacement coil connectors for 3.5 eco (2017). Am looking for aftermarket or discounted OEM. They appear to me to be way over priced...........Thanks

Very delicate critters indeed!...When I changed my spark plugs a while ago I was really careful not to break the connectors (and I used to twist wrenches)...As luck would have it, the first one did get damaged a little, but not so much that the lock did not function...My research on the subject only showed expensive Ford replacement connectors and required breaking into the loom (with limited space and little slack)...Seems Ford engineers must have designed this early on a Monday morning?...

Anybody else challenged by this issue?...

You are right....when I delicately pulled out the red locking tab it just fell out and when I tried to reinsert it would not lock again. This happened to three of them. Ballenger has what looks like an identical replacement but they say no. I do wonder if this is a Ford proprietary part and they are compelled to say that. Just wondering why there are no options for this. Seems unusual to me but I am not a professional wrench.

I do the same thing, except I use Marine heat shrink tubing (purchased from Harbor freight or similar places), the marine heat shrink has a glue inside and as you apply heat, the sleeve shrinks and the glue becomes liquid, then once it has cooled the glue goes hard and you have a completely watertight join. Regular heat shrink is great, I just like the extra security of the marine shrink on my car as the wiring is exposed to all the elements..

Thanks Dustin for your suggestion however the Eco is three wire and entirely a different shape. Also yours appear more robust than mine. I don't understand why Ford chooses to go so cheap when other manufacturers have more sturdy designs and they are available in the industry. Ford has also used sturdy designs in the past.
