Snarky, negative, go work on that little Miata or something.

Haha! You entertain me. Come on here saying what switch your 07 has, which matters zero to this conversation, then when a guy says he is going to do it most likely and see how it goes, you make some comment about rain ruining the switch, which in theory could happen to any electrical switch. Again, no bearing on the conversation unless he actually decides to replace the switch while it is raining...

Still waiting on the value you have brought to the conversation.[emoji23][emoji1787][emoji41]

I will go back to actual work now...

Sorry about all the interesting info, you aren't the only one out there. Negative again, go work on that little girls car or something.

I've had rain, water, soda, and once, famously, a milkshake spilled onto my window switches on my 98 Explorer. Still works. I did have to take 'em apart and clean the ice cream goo out of 'em.

If you left the window down in a tropical deluge, the switches would be lower on the priority list than say the gallons of water that will sure;y be in the floorboards.

There are folks who put one touch down window switches in stuff like Fox Thunderbirds. Something 30 years newer shouldn't be an issue.

That said...if someone wants to do it, help them, stay out of the way (including non-pertinent info, or shut up. Arguing about rain is asinine.

Just sayin' rain can screw them up and so can the window washers. Been there, done that. IDK anybody wants to argue about it

I was looking to add auto up/down to my vehicle (2007 Expedition Limited). Has anyone tried a universal module like the Directed Electronics 535T?

Coming Soon to a theatre near you: AUTO UP/DN Front Passenger Window

The plan is to swap out my (2016 Expy) front psngr window motor for the 15-17 Navigator Auto up/dn window motor. I already bought the Navigator window motor [P/N: WLM-222] and the harness [FL7Z-14630-A]. Looking at and comparing the Expy vs Navi wiring diagrams, there are a few differences which will require some minor wiring adjustment and/or additions but it looks like this mod will be an easy lift. Pun

I’ve been readying up on this and trying to see if this ever got resolved or gained traction. I’d really like to add the option to auto up down the passenger window on my 2015 from my driver side control.

Here's my solution for Auto Windows up/down. Full disclosure: Not an OEM solution
