Posting this in General for more visibility. Hoping someone related to the dealership reads it. If they address the damages incurred the last time they had it, I will take the post down.

TL;DR salesman didn't stick to his promises and service department doesn't know what they are doing and lack quality control.

Details - Two issues
1) salesman made a promise to repair the flap behind the third row. Apparently the flap is not sold separately, so instead he just had the service dept do a minor adjustment. Flap partially sticks up. Annoying, but this was the first issue, so I let it go.
2) service dept lacks quality. They've had my 2018 Expy 3 times and I'm still not sure if they've fixed the water leak in the passenger floor. (see other thread https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/interior-water-leak.45762/)
After the first time, the floor was not all the way dried out.
After the second time, I insisted they dried it - and they did, but when I got it home, I noticed a few missing grommets holding the inner fender flap.
After the third time, when I picked it up, it was not all the way dry, and the flap was missing!? They tech came out and put the flap back and insisted the residual moisture was because, "it's a large vehicle and its tough to get completely dry". BS.

I brought it home and pulled the trim near the door to fully dry it myself only to find they had broken one of the plastic clips. Then, I noticed some new scratches on the rear hatch! It looks like they opened the rear hatch when it was partially inside a garage, or under something.

I texted the service mgr and she said they did not open the rear hatch and that they could fix it but I would have to cover the cost. I honestly expected this response and I couldn't be 100% confident this didn't happen before I brought it last.

Then, 30 min later while driving, I noticed the leather on the dash on the passenger side was sticking up. It had clearly been damaged and I'm positive this wasn't there before. Seems obvious they service dept was the cause since they had the dash out. (supposedly the true source of the leak was missing seals behind the BCM? seems fishy)

I left another message for the service department but have not heard back.
At this point, I think I would prefer they just repair/patch the dash because I do not trust them to take anything apart and get it back together!

After stewing on this a few hours, I've realized the odds I did the scratches on the rear are nearly nil. Looking closely, they definitely seem like the hatch opened and hit something. I have never had the vehicle in a low space since owning it.

Oh, salt in the wound - the windshield is dirty in multiple places on the inside. Greasy hair rubbed on the inside of the windshield and they didn't even clean it before I got it back!? Appalling.
Oh wait, there is more - they have given me loaners, but they have NOT been comparable. It was only when I asked this last time they said they could get me an Expy, but if the work was not warranty, I would have to pay. It would have been nice if they offered this before.

Thanks for reading. I suggest you do not give this dealership your business.

Tell them you’ll be calling the Ford rep. Blast them on the survey the dealer sends out.
Blog the hell out of them.

Quick update: The service rep I had been communicating with ghosted me. At one point a week ago, I requested to wait on hold for her. When I was transferred to her a few minutes later, it went to voicemail. Classic! Spoke with someone else and got an appt. Called later in the week to confirm the damage repair was approved and that I would have a rental. No promises from the Service Manager - just that he wants to see it in person. Crossing my fingers they fix the crap they broke...

End of the story: Service Mgr at Titus will agreed to fix my issues. Had to come back another day. To my surprise, they 'fixed' my two issues in only 2.5hrs! Dash?: as well as can be expected. Obviously a new panel would have been better but I don't trust those yahoos to take apart my dash again. Rear hatch scratches?: Half ass fix. I can't believe they told me it was 'done' when there were still a few scratches. I wanted to call BS on their 'fix' but honestly it looked much better so I was ok with saying "thanks... bye".

Love our Expy, but I hope to never return to Titus Will Ford!
Here are the fix pics.

Do not blame you for not being happy, paid a lot of money for your truck. Seems like car dealers are getting worse and not better. Wish Ford would be able to penalize the bad apples and make them improve there service work.

I would be pissed too. I've lost track of how many times one of our vehicles has been damaged at a dealership though. I've always had to fight to get anything repaired.

As far as the scratches go, looks like all they did was "try" to buff it out.
Glad I don't have to deal with em. They would HATE me :)
